Arif Amin opened Kebabish Original in Blackburn in 2008 with his business partner, Zafar Iqbal. Arif began his culinary journey in 1987 on Rusholme's famous Curry Mile, gaining invaluable experience over six years in Europe's largest concentration of restaurants.

In 2008, Arif and Zafar launched Kebabish Original, quickly becoming a local favorite for its fresh ingredients, signature dishes like butter chicken and karahi, and exceptional service. Arif’s love for travel and dining out fuels his constant research and experimentation, keeping the restaurant ahead of the competition.
